‘Shenzhen Top Brand’ refers to brands that the quality of products and services has reached an advanced level and the brand value is at the forefront of the industry. Those brands should also have high reputations, strong market competitiveness, and good social and economic benefits. The evaluation of Shenzhen Top Brand started in 2003 under the Shenzhen Municipal Government Document〔2003〕No.64, with the intension of promoting enterprises to create well-known brands.
A total of 280 companies involving more than 40 industries in the city participated in the selection. In the end, only 59 companies successfully stayed on the list.
